Fubon Life Insurance Co., Ltd. was deemed to have shortcomings of insurance business, in violation of the Act Governing Relations between the People of the Taiwan Area and the Mainland Area, the Insurance Act and related regulations. The FSC thus imposed fines of NT$2.6 million on the company in accordance with Paragraph 1, Article 18 of the Act Governing Relations between the People of the Taiwan Area and the Mainland Area and Paragraph 5, Article 171-1 of the Insurance Act, and ordered 5 corrections under Paragraph 1, Article 149 of the Insurance Act.
