Nan Shan Life Insurance Co., Ltd. is found to have violated the Insurance Act in its insurance business and thereby fined NT$1,800,000 in accordance with Paragraph 5, Article 171-1 of the Insurance Act and Subparagraph 2, Paragraph 1, Article 30-1 of the Financial Consumer Protection Act. The FSC also issues 2 official reprimands and orders the company to modify its products within one month in accordance with Paragraph 1, Article 149 of the Insurance Act.
