Fubon Insurance is found to agree to underwrite a borrower’s residential fire insurance policy without examining the signatures of the applicant and the insured and increasing the coverage on its own. The FSC imposes a fine of NT$600,000 on the company in accordance with Paragraph 5, Article 171-1 of the Insurance Act.
