The sales statistics of foreign-currency denominated products by life insurance industry as of the end of January 2021 were as follows: premium revenues from new foreign-currency denominated policies amounted to around NT$60.276 billion, up by 3% from NT$58.732 billion year-on-year. Within these figures, investment-linked insurance products accounted for NT$30.414 billion (around 50% of the total), up by 106% from NT$14.792 billion year-on-year, and the sales of traditional insurance products totaled NT$29.862 billion (around 50% of the total), down by 32% from NT$43.940 billion year-on-year.
