The sales statistics of foreign-currency denominated products by life insurance industry as of the end of August 2021 were as follows: premium revenues from new foreign-currency denominated policies amounted to around NT$389.611 billion, up by 13% from NT$344.453 billion year-on-year. Within these figures, investment-linked insurance products accounted for NT$194.426 billion (around 50% of the total), up by 127% from NT$85.517 billion year-on-year, and the sales of traditional insurance products totaled NT$195.185 billion (around 50% of the total), down by 25% from NT$258.936 billion year-on-year.
