Sanction Decision on E. Sun Bank

E. Sun Bank, in its borrower residential fire and earthquake insurance agency business, is found to have the situation of failing to affix corporate seal at the applicant signature column to illustrate that the company is an insurance agent in this case, which is non-complying with Paragraph 2, Article 33 of the Regulations Governing Insurance Agents set forth pursuant to Paragraph 4, Article 163 of the Insurance Act. The FSC hereby orders the bank to take corrective action within one month and imposes a fine of NT$200,000 in accordance with Article 167-2 of the Insurance Act on October 22, 2019.
